Each kit contains Bourbon Whisky essence, toasted & fresh American oak chips, and simple instructions—just add 40% spirit and oak age for 2–6 weeks. The result is a brilliant clone of the original Jim Beam Bourbon.

We’ve spent weeks refining this recipe—blending, finessing, and ageing on barrel oak to capture the true Kentucky Bourbon character. The outcome is a deep, golden whisky with balanced sweetness, oak richness, and a satisfyingly smooth finish. Each pack makes up to 4.5 litres.

Due to the size of the Bourbon staves and flagon neck sizes, I split the kit into two lots. I made the mistake of putting half the glycerine (25ml) into each container. But I am more than happy with the result. The result has been better than the singular bourbon mixes I have used in the past. My alcohol (triple distilled) and water purity have enabled me to make great brews sourced from the Still Spirits Profile Recipe Book. Glycerine knowledge is most important.
