In 1977-78, comedian Redd Foxx took his stand-up and sketch comedy talent to ABC with producers Bob Einstein (Super Dave) and Allan Blye for a variety show. The comedy show only lasted one season, but was chock full of talent from the day, many of whom were Redd's personal friends. From Flip Wilson and Lawanda Page to Muhammad Ali and Rodney Dangerfield, the show was as much a place for celebrity spotting as it was for laughs.
