The 2014 season saw Mercedes reign supreme. The Silver Arrows were unstoppable, winning 16/19 races throughout the season. Dominance like that has only been witnessed in a handful of iconic eras throughout history. 

A season comparable to Senna and Prost at McLaren, Schumacher and Barrichello at Ferrari. 

James Vowles recounted for the "F1: Beyond The Grid" podcast that they knew they had both World Championships wrapped up after pre-season testing, and this was absolutely right.
