IDW Digital Comics Experience 12+

The pages in the books that I read have a hard time loading, I have a difficult time just trying to touch the help button for hopefully a better reading experience, but unfortunately, it’s just instructions on how to navigate through pages and zoom in and out. The pages should all be instantly loaded up and ready to read, but IDW just decided to make it a chore just to read one book. That is just sad and pathetic. If it weren’t for the fact that all the comic books apps like TMNT, Transformers, and Star Trek found their new home, or as I call it their new Alcatraz, I wouldn’t come to this app. The fact is if you can’t make the IDW app good, then you shouldn’t be messing with the comic book reading experience.

IDW ur breaking my heart!!! First I'd like to say I love ur publishing company, and the wide selection of books is great...but why is it that whenever I open this app I need to continue re-downloading the books I've already paid for!!! It's a real pain, and it kills ALOT of my battery life. I use this app on my iPhone for the most part, so i understand that battery life is limited to begin with but come on!!! If I didn't have to keep re-loading my books it would really improve my actuall reading time as well as increase my library...considering the fact that I stopped downloading books because of this problem. Please send us an update for this problem asap. Aside from that, I love it!!! I'm still recomending this app to everyone I know with an iPhone/iPad...it's well worth the asking price! Lol...keep up the good work IDW!

PS: also could u guys give us a way to download a full series in one shot...say I don't know a bundle pack...it's a bit of a mess having to download one book at a time, just a thought!!! :0/

*Update 3/15*. Much improved, thank you. I believe all the problems I had with the previous release have been addressed. I have not run into any problems since. Nice work.

*old review* I heard about this app one day reading The Dreamer and was really looking forward to getting it when I received my iPad. However it is very buggy in its current state. When I try to browse back to the first page of a comic it gets stuck. When I go back to the store from a comic it often goes to a listing of available comics that do nothing when I click on them and the only way to get back to my comics or the proper part of the store with pictures I have to use my home button then re-click the app. The resolution for The Dreamer, the only comic I have downloaded so far, is great. I'm looking forward to future upgrades but at this point would recommend people not get this app at this time.
