Our dog loves the Forthglade 75% Lamb, Turkey and duck wet food in the 395g trays. He has been fed this food for 3/4years and although somewhat expensive we always look out for the best deals. On this occasion buying direct from Forthglade we found to be the best buy, the delivery arrived very promptly. We will continue to watch prices and now include Forthglade direct.
I have always fed my labradors on Forthglade & dog biscuit, so when my vet recommended a trial grain free, duck or fish diet due to her skin allergy, I was really worried what to do, but Forthglade had exactly what I wanted! Complete meals,of duck or fish, with no grain, & 25%off, special offer!!
The delivery was fast & within a given time frame. All good.
Hazel has only been on her new diet 4 days, no tummy upsets, seems satisfied. We await results! Thsnkyou
My dog is very allergic to alot of foods but the fish variety is doing him better. Great texture. Smells fresh. Tried many different food companies. Fish varieties but didn't seem to help with his allergies but this one seems good so far. Plenty of food on it too. Only thing didn't like was delivery. Just left on doorstep...didn't see a delivery driver at all.
Having used Forthglade wet food for many years, I decided to try their dry food, mainly for its ingredients and production method but also for the size of the kibbles. Delivery was relatively quick however as we were not in, it was not delivered on the first occasion. Rather odd as a consignment of wine, delivered at the same time, was left as instructed? It’s early days so I haven’t tried all the foods yet, we have two dogs. But the smaller dog, who prefers small kibbles seems to enjoy this food.

Probably not Forthglades fault entirely but the delivery firm. At the end of the day they chose the firm

This product has improved my dog’s skin and coat dramatically he has a lovely shiny coat and his eyes even say he enjoys it on his dinner

Whilst my dog likes Forthglade cold pressed food I cannot give a positive review since my first order has gone missing and the company and not responding to emails or phone calls to investigate and resolve. My advice would be not to buy direct from Forthglade (use your local pet supplier) or look at an alternative food (Wilsons?). Shame because it would be good to see a small British company be successful.

Was recommended this dog food by the Kennels my dogs board at. It has been an easy change over for them from tinned supermarket products. The dogs are happy so I am happy. The orders are scheduled and delivered for when you need them and if you need anything a bit earlier you can request this too.

Sadly within two days my dogs were both constipated after starting this food. Day three came around and one of the dogs was so unwell he was rushed to the vets. He had an impacted bowel.
£2k later after a Sunday emergency vet trio he had to be admitted and have an enema. Having since (stupidly after the event) researched this food it seems to be an issue for some dogs experiencing constipation (another also with an impacted bowel).
