How It Works

You’ll embark on your adventure with a group of like-minded Insiders, completing a short daily feedback form to capture your experience — the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Your insights will be key to shaping future trips.

Once you return, depending on your feedback, we’ll follow up with a video call to discuss your experience in detail with our Customer Experience Specialist, Adventure Operations, and Innovation teams.

Insider Aventure FAQs

What makes an Insider adventure different from a regular Flash Pack trip?: An Insider adventure is the very first departure of a brand new Flash Pack trip. This means there may be some unexpected twists or changes along the way, so it’s perfect for flexible, adventurous travellers who don’t mind a few bumps in the road.
Why are Insider adventures discounted?: Since this is the first departure of the adventure, there may be last-minute changes before or during your trip. Your feedback plays a crucial role in shaping the experience for future travellers, which is why we offer the trip at a discounted rate.
What can I expect from an Insider adventure?: Things may not always go as smoothly as a fully established trip. In addition to enjoying the adventure, you’ll be asked to fill out a feedback form every evening to share your thoughts and help us improve the experience.
Will the itinerary be the same as what's on the website?: We aim to follow the published itinerary as closely as possible. However, there might be adjustments made along the way or on short notice before departure.
What’s expected of Insiders during the trip?: Be flexible and open to change throughout the adventure. You’ll need about 10-20 minutes each evening to complete a feedback form. After the trip, we may invite you for a video call with our Customer Experience Specialist, Adventure Operations, and Innovation teams to discuss your experience in more detail.
How do I complete the form each day?: The form will be sent via your WhatsApp group and your Pack Leader will carve out time each evening for everyone to complete it.
What happens if things don’t go as planned?: That’s part of the Insider adventure experience! You might get to explore parts of the country or do things no future Flashpacker will experience. However, due to the discounted rate, there will not be any refunds if things don’t go exactly as expected.
Are Insider adventures only for returning Flash Pack customers?: Not at all! Insider adventures are open to everyone. As long as you’re an open-minded traveller with a passion for adventure, you’re welcome to join.
How do I apply for an Insider trip?: You can either book a call with one of our Travel Experts here or explore the available Insider Adventures listed below.
Can I go on more than one Insider trip?: Absolutely! You’re welcome to join as many Insider trips as you’d like.
Where do I see if an adventure is an Insider trip or not?: Insider trips will always be on the first departure we run on an adventure. This will always be clearly signposted as an ‘Insider adventure’ when selecting your date on the See Dates pages accessed from the trip page.
If I take content on my Insider trip, will I be credited?: If you’re signing up to be an Insider and have an interest in photography, video or writing – we’d love to work with you to help us bring the adventure to life for future customers. For any social media features or entries to our digital magazine – you’ll be fully credited. For website featured imagery, this falls under part of the Insider brief, and so images will belong to Flash Pack unless otherwise agreed – for more information on this visit our Image Policy Guidelines. Note, as you are already receiving a discounted rate for the Insider trip, no further monetary discount can be applied in return for content.
Can I use any other discounts on an Insider Adventure?: Discounts cannot be combined with an Insider Adventure, as these trips are already specially priced.
