To make a return, please use the link above to create a return. For orders within the United States we will send you a free USPS return shipping label. Just print the label and attach it to the original box and give it to the mailman or drop at a post office.
We are not able to provide shipping labels for international orders, or reimburse international shipping expenses.

A special kind of wool clothing called Loden originated in the high Alpine region of Tirol, Austria. Centuries ago the wool fabric was only worn by the peasantry, but in the 19th century the Habsburg Archduke Johann, a champion of the common folk, popularized the style with the nobility, including his nephew Emperor Franz Josef.
Loden wool becomes Loden through a wet finishing process using heat, tension and soap making it highly durable, water resistant and warm: perfect for cold wet winters. Our authentic Austrian Loden is milled by traditional Alpine mill dating back over 400 years. Best of all, it is made from pure renewable wool fibers.
This coat runs large so if between sizes, order the smaller size.
Sizes are US sizes. Order your regular men's blazer or men's suit jacket size.
This jacket comes in 3 lengths designated by the letter R,S or L after the chest size.
R = regular length, typically fine for men between 5'8" - 6'2"
L = long, has an extra ~1.5" in the sleeve for very tall or lanky figures
S = short, sleeves are ~1.5" shorter for shorter or stockier figures

Hi Richard, I'm so happy to hear you've been enjoying your authentic Loden coat for so many years! We also use the 85% Schurwolle and 15% Alpaca blend on some of our traditional Loden coats, for example the Tirol or Sud Tiroler or Loden Field Coat which you can find in our Men's Loden Coat collection. However we also use pure merino wool and other pure wool Loden fabrics. Loden refers to the wet-finishing process (fulling) and not necessarily the fiber blend. But the alpaca and sheep wool blend is a famous one we still use! Please take a look at these products: Click Here

Hi John, We don't have anymore of the XS-36R but I think the S-38R would be worth a shot. We are happy to send a free return shipping label if the fit isn't suitable for you. Alternatively, we have a new coat this season called the "Loden Field Coat". It's quite similar to the Liezen but the charcoal version is a heavier fabric, and it also comes in olive green and is available in XS-36R.

Hi Anthony, The Markus Duffel Coat is a tad longer than the Liezen Cruizer. For example, in a size 40 the Markus Duffel Coat has a back length measured from the base of the collar to the hem of 35" but the Liezen is 33". The 2" difference would apply to other sizes as well.
