US political commentator Matt Walsh took Te Pāti Māori MPs to task for staging a haka against the ACT party’s David Seymour’s Treaty Principles Bill, which seeks to enshrine equality under the law.
“We should take note of this as an example,” said Walsh.
“This is the result of all the kowtowing, bowing, and submitting. The Māori are openly campaigning against equal rights and threatening politicians who don’t align with their views. This is the sort of outcome Western societies can expect when they begin apologising for their own existence,” he told his audience.
