Brian Tamaki calls out John Tamihere and Māori elite after news Waipareira Trust to be deregistered

Brian Tamaki blasted John Tamihere and his Waipareira Trust, calling its deregistration by Charities Services a long-overdue move against what he calls a “Māori-money cartel.”

Tamaki claims Tamihere has benefited from being at the control point for over $1.185b in government funding since 2010. “And that’s not even counting the other government contracts Tamihere has picked up,” Tamaki alleges.

CDC study: Vaccinated children under 5 more likely to get COVID

A CDC-led study revealed that children under 5 who received Pfizer’s COVID vaccine were more likely to contract symptomatic COVID than unvaccinated children with natural immunity.

While the study, published in the Journal of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, didn’t highlight this finding in its conclusion, the data showed vaccinated children had a 191% higher risk of symptomatic infection compared to their unvaccinated peers.

Government scraps key waste minimisation policies

The government has scrapped plans for a national rollout of recycling measures and mandatory kerbside food scraps composting, quietly announcing the decision through a Ministry for the Environment website update rather than a public statement.
