About us
Passenger is a responsible outdoor clothing brand with a mission to inspire meaningful escapism. Getting outside matters, disconnecting to reconnect, unplugging to recharge. We believe that finding escapism in our passions, our connections and in nature recharges us, bringing balance and wellbeing. We want to inspire people to find their own paths, roam further and embrace their own journey, whatever that might be. Stories of escapism are woven into the fabric of our products and each design tells a different one, the smell of a campfire on a beanie or the salt-water stain on a favourite tee. We design all our products with this in mind, hoping another tale will be made with each one. We know that by inspiring people to spend more time outdoors and offering a product that enables them to do that easily, people will fall in love with the outdoors, the places they play. And in turn will want to protect those places, look after them and advocate for them. This is why our Plant & Protect programme is so important to us. We plant a tree for every order and protect acres and acres of rainforest every month. Always have, always will. Designed To Wander, Made To Roam.

50 riders. One solstice sunset. And the first-ever UK flagship Swift Campout. Last weekend, bikepackers rolled through the sun-soaked New Forest and made their way to camp, greeted by Little Firs, swag bags, and drinks from The Rum Life. After cooling down and pitching up, the night unfolded with fireside chilli and egg-and-spork races until the sun went down. A huge shoutout to Swift Industries, New Forest Off Road Club, and The Woods Cyclery for helping bring the magic. Here’s to community, connection, and campouts done right. 📸 @simon_weller #PassengerClothing #MadeToRoam #SwiftCampout

Introducing Cookout Sessions, our brand new YouTube series with ambassador, Sam Jones, a.k.a @nomeatdisco. Across the series, Sam will be firing up a feast of good local eats, celebrating everything the UK summer has to offer. Along the way, he'll be catching up with familiar faces from the Passenger crew, scouting out secret swim spots, foraging for the freshest ingredients, and linking up with local knowledge-holders. In episode 1, Sam shares his mouthwatering Harissa and Burnt Lemon Flatbreads recipe. Expect coffee mishaps, a dog named Bingo, and Passenger Founder, Richard Sutcliffe, on tea duties. Is it nettle tea or chicken stock? Don't ask... Grab a cuppa (preferably nettle tea) and give the first episode a watch: https://lnkd.in/ekW3YkE3 #PassengerClothing #CookoutSessions #YouTubeSeries #Cooking

We at Passenger have long admired the team at Swift Industries - value-driven, with community at their core. So when the opportunity came up to collaborate, it was a no-brainer. Two brands with a deep-rooted passion for connecting people to the outdoors. There’s plenty to come from Passenger x Swift Industries in the months ahead - Swift gear on our site, some sweet collaborations, and a UK Swift Campout. But at the heart of it all? Two brands, with shared values, showing up every day to inspire people to grab a bike and find some escapism. https://lnkd.in/ek3XPpMN

Yesterday I had the (nerve-wracking) pleasure of chatting with Winifred Robinson on BBC Radio 4’s You & Yours Gap Finders show. It’s funny because I never really set out to find a gap in the market when we launched Passenger 13 years ago. We just wanted to build something we gave a sh*t about. Its been an amazing journey and I am very proud of what the team at Passenger has accomplished. If you want to catch up on the show and hear me go on about the 'why' and how Passenger is what it is today, I’ve linked the episode in the comments below.

Here's to escaping the hustle and bustle... In April, we headed out with Love Trails ® for a 12km community stomp around Hampstead Heath, London. Bringing together movement, fresh air, and the energy you only get when you're surrounded by good folk, it was the perfect way to recharge and reconnect. Proof that you don't have to go far to find a little escapism - sometimes it's right on your doorstep. A huge shoutout to everyone who came out and brought the vibes. Here's to the next one. 🤙 📸 Ed Sharpe, Soul Capture Studio #PassengerClothing #MadeToRoam #LoveTrails #CommunityEvent

“Where is my tree planted?” Today is Earth Day, and a good chance for us to look back on our trip to Eastern Uganda last year with longtime conservation partner Trees for the Future. We met the committed folk who do the good work day in, day out, and saw exactly where your trees are planted. Together, we’ve planted over 2 million trees across sub-Saharan Africa since 2018. These trees are part of ‘Forest Gardens’ - a specialist approach using agroforestry techniques that empowers farmers to take back control of their land, diversify their crops, and improve their livelihoods. For every order, we plant a tree. But, it’s way more than that. Watch the full video here and learn about our impact: https://lnkd.in/exS6RqKu #PassengerClothing #EarthDay #PlantAndProtect #TreesForTheFuture
