Scalmarin delivers local seafood to the Michelin restaurants all over the world. Our guide Mariann runs the company Bergen Fjord Adventures which delivers unique experiences in the nature or at Vestre. They have guides and instructors that can take you on unique adventures: seafood meals on bonfire by the shore, kayaking in the beautiful archipelago, scuba diving or snorkeling, fishing or RIB tours between reefs and islets.
We even make activities and fun competitions for larger groups.

From fjord to mouth
We make an unforgettable shellfish meal on bonfire by the shore. At Vestre, or on a small islet in the archipelago. We combine local ingredients such as scallops, mussels and crayfish with what we find by the shore - shells, crabs and seaweed. Our guests participate in the cookery and learn good tips and recipes. The world's best seafood, of course, comes from Scalmarin, which is harvested in the local fjords
Kayaking
The area surrounding Vestre is perfect for kayaking. Narrow areas and shallow places with seaweed forests brings you close to nature. Our instructors can take you on a magical kayaking trip in the surrounding area. If you have a license and are experienced you can go on your own. Price per request.
diving
We know the best dive sites in the area and can take you on a adventure under water! Our certified instructors are experienced and have the best equipment available. Do you want to swim through forests of seaweed or pick the world's best ingredients for your own lunch? - Then this is for you! Price per request.
Chef and staff
Are you celebrating a birthday or a special occasion, or just want to treat yourself to something extra? We have access to the best chefs with the best ingredients. They can cook meals for both small and large groups. We also have available personnel for housekeeping and hosting. Price per request.

Combine your stay at Vestre with a meal at Cornelius's seafood restaurant. We are so lucky and have one of the country's best seafood restaurants in the neighboring island.
